Living in rural areas, these artisans face numerous challenges in their daily lives while trying to sustain their livelihoods and continue their artistic heritage. As a government-backed entity, named after the famous tribal couple from Bastar,’ Jhitku Mitki’ aims to empower these artisans by providing the necessary support to promote their craft on an international platform and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Bastar through art.
